Scooter hire in Icmeler

Hi, was just wondering if anybody knew where I can hire roadworthy scooters that wont breakdown halfway round to Turunc, cheers gerry.

Gerry should you hire scooters in Turkey you may find your UK insurance invalid.
Secondly should you collide with any one do you think they will be insured ?
Thirdly i have been on the back of a locals scooter and i was clinging on for dear life !
That said i am in my fifties now and maybe getting sensible in my old age.
In my twenties it was a different story.
Just have a think about it mate.

Wise to check your insurance - my nephew and his mates hired scooters in Kavos a couple of years back. Needless to say, he came off his and although he wasn't badly hurt, he did have to go to hospital and get stitches, etc. His insurance wouldn't pay out as they said he wasn't covered for anything like that.

Next door to our office (ICR) you can rent car, jeep or scooters. All the rentals come with insurance, but the insurance covers the vehicle not you. If you are thinking of hiring a scooter while in Turkey, please check the small print of your travel insurance document as a lot do not cover you for injuries caused through rental of scooters. You will also be provided with a safety helmet to wear which although you will see many people riding around without them, it is the law to wear them and it is for your own safety. Also make sure you have a valid license to ride a scooter as this will be checked before you hire and could be checked at any time by the traffic police.
