I think this is a Turkish Airline, so does anyone know if we will be able to purchase an alcoholic drink onboard and will we be offered duty free cigarette's etc?

Thanks

A safe airline.
Enjoy - nothing to worry about.

The only problem you'll have is if you need to contact them to make any special requests. Last year we booked with Thomas Cook and they transferred us to OA and we had a nightmare trying to organise wheelchairs. We found out there was a loophole in the law as the flight was transferred to OA, so TC had no responsibility for the booking. They were then regarded as 'agents' and we had to contact OA direct. No-one at OA could deal with this request.
Also, check your duty free allowance as last year I heard one flight attendant telling a woman that the allowance for cigarettes was 600. The allowance hadn't increased and it was still 200. I think it was also wrong in the flight catalogue.
Apart from that we've always found Onur Air to be excellent and wouldn't hesitate to fly with them again.

The flights weren't enjoyable at all, however the thing that sticks most in my head is coming back to Glasgow airport. The weather was horrendous on landing and the pilot had to do a go-around. Was scary as hell, but they done a brilliant job getting the thing down.
