It's a fair way from the beach - fairly near where we stay (Grand Aquarium) according to the resort map on TA.

You can walk to the beach in about 20 minutes though and not too bad if you take it steady. Also there are regular dolmus' to and from the resort - last year it was 1.5TL each to Icmeler (around 50p) or you can usually barter a taxi down to around 5TL.

Here's the ICR link: http://www.icmeleronline.com/apart.php?no=195

They are towards the back of the resort in the old village area. From the town basically follow the dry canal and you will come to them Its about a 20 minute walk. Just beyond them is Tommys restaurant which is excellent

Hi Susan

Stayed here last August and I'd say it's a bit more than a 20 min walk to the beach, BUT the dolmus stops right outside and they're every 10 mins or so. We usually walk everywhere, but for us it was a bit too far out for that - don't let that put you off though  We got quite used to hopping on and off the buses every day and night, and they only cost peanuts haha
If you go to the Majestic restaurant, you'll have a free lift there and back too.
The apartments are cheap and cheerful, plenty of hot water and there's always something going on. The 2 pools are great. It was nice and breezy round the pool with the aparts being so far back, a def bonus for us
Hope this helps, and feel free to shout up if you've any more questions.

Well, I say 20 minutes but then again, when you're on holiday who clock watches? not me lol.
It 'seemed' like 20 minutes but maybe was a little more.

We walked into Icmeler around 6 times in the 10 days that we were there. Had to do something to walk off all the booze & food lol
