Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Hola!

I was just wondering if everyone thinks this is a rly daft idea me and my mate holly have been coming to Turkey for years....last year we stayed in marmaris for like 6 wks in her mums old house we are seriously considering going over to icmeler for 2/3 months ive told my mum but she was having none of it! Everyone thinks its just like a wee fad cos were only 17 my mum claims that i would be like this no matter were we went on holiday but trust me ive never felt like this about majorca etc...! I duno if were being unrelistic but it would be so good to go! another thing is we are not to sensiable wi the cash were there last wk and ran out of money by sunday our 5th day thank god we were there for only one week this time and not 2! its not even cos we have drinkys etc its just everything about it and the weather is terriable in edinburgh today ands smelling funny am sure of it! forgot where i was this morning on the way to work i smiled at some random in the street could have sworn it was like being in icmeler everyone is so friendly! so does anyone have any idea have much dosh we would need relistically.......

work out how much you really did spend in those 5 days and then multiply tht by 2 then multiply that number by how many weeks you intend to stay and then you have a realistic figure.

Also make sure that you book a return ticket so you wont have that expense to worry about

once you've decided how much you need, you could split it into your daily allowance and stick that in a separate envelope for each day - would take some will power as well though cos you'll have to make sure you don't dip into the next one until tomorrow!!
If you've got any spare from one day, you won't need as much for the next ha ha

We all I would have thought at some time wished we could spend an extended period of time in Icmeler.
We once spent 4 weeks in the resort and it seemed to be a different holiday to the normal 2 weeks in as much we didnt have to rush round cramming everything into 14 days.

The first thing is cost of flights,as pointed out please go for a return.
You say you stopped in your friends house is this an option how much or is it free.
Eating out is far more expensive than having food in the apartment bought at Tansas.
Going to bars at night is fine but if you go clubbing thats when your cash dissapears.

Who would fund this venture or would you need to look for work in resort.

Sit down and work the cost out,then go back to your mum and and say to her that she was young once and through you could maybe fullfill her own dreams and would she give you the money.

If all this fails Lynn lives in Edinburh I am sure she would donate to your holiday fund along with all the other ICR members who would love to do the same thing as you.
