Stella Show

Postby sunseeker2011 » 11 Feb 2013 12:37

I've heard some really good reviews on this and sorry if I'm bringing up old topics.

I'm not really sure this is for me, I do like a good laugh but it looks like the tacky shows at the cheesy UK seaside resorts (Blackpool, Skegness etc...). Is it really that good and also, is it suitable for my 16 year old daughter or is it an adult only show?

Cheers

It all depends on your sense of humour. (or lack of it) We've been to this show numerous times, and still find it hilarious. I've seen macho looking guys with tears runing down there faces, and only ever once saw one teenage girl who sat through the whole performance without as much as a smile on her face, but we found out afterwards that was due to a falling out with her boyfriend. Stella's language can be a bit colourful, but nothing a 16 year old won't have heard many times before. Most teenagers love it, as do the younger kids who don't really understand the jokes. There are a number of video clips on Youtube that will give you an idea of what to expect. Check out the Drunken Nun. Funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

Well, I had a quick look last night and decided it's not for me, just a guy prancing around in women's clothes miming to cheesy songs - not my cup of tea to be honest - I can't see what all the fuss is about so will save my money for more Efe's & other excursions I think.

Everyone's different I guess and we all like different things - not a bad thing...

Me neither - not my cup of tea, I'm afraid, but it'd be a boring old world if we all liked the same things... :D
