Boat Trips in Icmeler

Postby sunseeker2011 » 03 Jan 2013 12:19

Ok, so after a slight discussion on another thread, rather than hi-jack the thread I thought I'd start a new one.

Someone said that ICR have stopped their all-inclusive boat trips (I went on one last year at beginning of September and had a real good time).

Is this true? That they are no longer doing them?

I'd rather get an answer straight from the horses mouth (so to speak) i.e. JT or a member of the team.

We will be there from 29th July to 12th Aug and apart from the Jeep Safari and maybe another excursion, were really looking forward to the boat trip again...

Thanks,

Justin (Lesley & Amy)

If the council or lord mayor of Marmaris decides that all inclusive boat trips are back on then yes we will be doing them.

If they do noit then I will definitely not be sneaking around trying to get people on boats like I did last year as it was too much

OK, thanks for the reply JT.

Just out of curiosity, why did the council decide to stop them? We've been on a boat trip the last 2 years of going to Turkey and both times they were great, spoilsports lol!

Not sure really but maybe someone on the council has a friend who has a boat and he wants to sell his boat at a price he can make money at to feedd his family through the year, pay his taxes and also keep him afloat (sorry) in the winter

The man next door sees that this boat is making money and he isn't getting as much so he thinks, I know I will cut my throat and his and sell at a loss doing all inclusives so in the end they all suffer

Maybe his frend in the council has seen this and decides to get rid of these cheap boats and sell at one price

I said maybe as I don't know but I do know in other resorts in Turkey, the council sits with the bar owners in bar street or wherever and they set a price that the beer in ALL bars is sold at.

No underhand dealings, no cheap crap watery draught sold as quality beer cheaper than others and all bars get a fair crack of the whip

If one bar gets more people in then it is down to honesty hard working and keeping people happy and entertained
