I am so pleased that you have managed to get your insurance sorted and are able to go back to Icmeler. I was really saddened when I read your post along with the others who had difficulties with their travel insurance as it seemed that companies were making it difficult for travellers with health problems.
I don't know if it is permissable for you to say the name of the company you managed to get insured with but as I have problems getting insurance for my husband it may be a company I haven't tried already. Any help would be much appreciated. Your post has given me hope.

I have received your e-mails and appreciate your help. I have replied to the e-mail but not sure if I have done it correctly so in case not - thanks again. I will try this company and hopefully get a satisfactory outcome.

I think it was either staysure or gosure that George used

We are with Staysure and was worried that they would discontinue my insurance after a test I had last week with was to do with a condition I had 18 years ago that I hadnt declared because I had forgotten about it!
I am pleased to say they have included it on my policy with no extra charge.
I can recommend Staysure and they only have an excess of £65 compared to £150 that most other companies charge.
They are underwritten by Mapfey.

It is Insure and Go we are with

We were insured with them last year but they increased their prices when our renewal was due so went with Staysure who have the same underwriter.
Insure and Go are an excellent company though and I have only heard good reports about them.
