Hi all,
I hear that there have been a few earthquakes and tremors over the last couple of days.
Is everyone alright.?
We've been trying to contact our daughter to ask her but she's in Bodrum at the moment.
We hope that everyone and everything is OK.

There have been several small tremors recorded but nothing unusal in either frequency or strength. Turkey gets earthquakes all day every day - nothing to give any concern.

I think alot of them may be aftershocks & luckily no damage

We had 4 earthquakes in Icmeler and Marmaris on Saturday night and then last night we had another one. On all occassions the centre of the earthquake was in Bozburun and last nights measured 4.8. As Silverbeard said we do get alot of earthquakes around this time of year and for those that were here in June/July (can't remeber exact month) we experienced some rather large quakes, but also alot that we didn't feel (in total over 5 days we apparently had 100 quakes)
Fingers crossed, so far I have not been here for a large earthquake, but a few have got my heart racing and had me leave buildings. Everybody here though is OK

Everything centered around Bozburun for the last week hence the Marmaris area feeling them
