Looking for different restaurants to go to in October. We all tend to eat in our fav places, but would like to try something new that has been recommended.

Some of our favs are: Ozzys, Loveboat ,Moonlight ,Dost
We also like the restaurant in the Pinewood apartments

Favourite Restaurant

If you are looking for a quieter and more romantic atmosphere then we would recommend Robin Hood Restaurant on the old village road. (Left hand side coming from the town.)
The food was superb and the kitchen and toilet were spotless!
Alex and his sister were a delight and they are a local Icmeler Family.
No doubt the atmosphere is a lot livelier when there are more visitors!!
We were there 11th-25th September and had many a snack and evening meal there!
They only opened four months ago.

The Angel Inn cafe bar is new this year - just behind the Alinda where the Blue Fox used to be.

Same quality as the Loveboat and prices are good - we had the roast lamb which is like the Lamb you've usually to order for 2 people 24 hours beforehand. It's divine and falls off the bone.

Also, the Angel is handy for whatever you fancy next -cheap drinks in the bars around or just up the road from Dream 3 Bells and in the opp direction, the CHill Bar or Eastenders.

Can't recommend it enough - and btw, the toilets are spotless too!

one of the best meals we had in August was at the Two Sisters, along towards the beach from wonderboys and have to say it was probably one of the cheapest, their beef strogg was too die for.

Back today and we I could not fault the Wayside. Fantastic food and the staff are great. If you can manage it try the fried ice cream.

My firm favourites are The Lighthouse, The Chef and the Wayside. The Golden Moon is also nice.

A friend of mine has just returned from Icmeler and a couple of meals at Captain Sinbads in the old village. She said it was excellent and if you eat there you get a free breakfast the next day! One I will certainly be trying when I'm back out there in May!

Just returned from Icmeler on Friday and we ate at The Chef (best restuarant in Icmeler), The Loveboat, Set Steak House, Three Bells, The Majestic (beef sizzle is to die for) and The Venice. These restaurants are a must go.

Have just returned from Icmeler on 29th August having last been there 10 yrs ago. I found the Friends restaraunt had the best steaks i have ever tasted and they were perfectly cooked every night. Also ventured in to the Majestic restaraunt one night and saw a "sizzling beef" being cooked. It looked so good i just had to try it and was so impressed i returned the next day for the same again. The only place i was dissapointed with was the Pyramid restaraunt. I was travelling with 4 other families and in total there were 19 of us. Out of 19 meals 3 were returned because they were so bad. Then they wanted to charge us full price for the returned food. Have never tasted such bad food and recieved such poor service from a restaraunt anywhere as the Pyramid. Has anyone else recieved poor food from the pyramid or where we just unlucky ????

When I was in Icmeler in August we ate at the Pyramid one night - purely because we discovered a couple of waiters we've known for years were working there - so thought we ought to.

The meal we had was OK but nothing to write home about - we didn't eat there again - just popped in for a quick Efes or 3.

Take a walk up to the old village and try Captain Sinbad's. Good food, great choice, low prices and as a bonus two very kind guys called Sammi and Simon make it worth the walk.

Mince and tatties just does not seem the same since coming home

I highly recommend you to visit Charlies Place. The food and the staff are really fantastic! We have tried all their dishes from their home made pasta to their main courses and never been dissapointed! The deserts are really to die for, especially the tiramisu and the brownie! The restaurant is located opposite of Mudurnu Chicken, near Tansas.

Another special place, well worth a visit, even if it is a little bit off, is Rose Cafe in the old village. They serve turkish home made three courses meal two times a week. The food is delicious! It´s also probably the only hussle free and most quiet place in Icmeler! Once you find it, you will go back! Just pass the Babadan Apartments and follow the main road. Pass by the Robin Hood restaurant. Beside you find Turbo Chef, walk to the left and pass the duplex apartment and walk over the bridge and you there you will find the signs Cafe Rose.

Enjoy your holiday!

Eaten there once this year and once last year and although meal was ok they tried to charge for an extra meal and drink each time so check your bills

I'm glad my parents and I didn't visit the Pyramid this year after hearing yur reports - I wanted to go because the first year we went to Turkey it was lovely but because we spent so many nights in other places we ran out of nights!
