Having returned from 2 weeks at the Mersoy Exclusive, all I can say is "For Anyone already booked, change your booking"
This hotel is a disgrace.
The rooms are the pits,not particularly clean, the food is only "OK", breakfast a big letdown (except for the omelette man)
If you like cold burger and chips you will be in your element here.
The staff work hard and it seemed to me they were not appreciated.
The Management, well I dont know what to say............................ Rude, ignorant just about sums it up.
I would definately return to Icmeler but certainly not this hotel. Never never again.
There were queues every morning in reception and this was just people complaining.
I have travelled all over the world and can really say that this was the worst hotel I have ever ever stayed in.
On speaking to various people in hotel, bar, swimming pool etc, these were the thoughts of everybody there.
I know my "Review" may sound abit harsh, but I wouldnt want anyone else to waste their hard-earned money going to this slum

Sorry you didn't like your hotel but with all due respect how can the staff work hard if the food was not up to much (chef?) served cold (waiters?) rooms dirty (cleaners?) How can the staff not be appreciated if there were so many faults with the hotel? Surely if a hotel is run badly, dirty and food cold etc then that is mainly due to the staff?

Mersoy Oriental or Mersoy Exclusive for 2013,these two hotels are to become a new hotel called The Mersoy Exclusive Aqua Resort. It does state a newly renovated complex on jet 2.
Hotel ran in to the ground as it is getting renovated this winter.

This is our review we put on Trip Advisor after our holiday there in July....


We were here in July - it was our 14th visit to Icmeler over the past 12 years... it was our first time AI though and this hotel was all geared up for the Russians!! the food was ok for breakfast & lunch but the evening meal was not to our liking especially the fish heads urgh,, we ate out most nights and watching the russians stealing oranges - yes 6 oranges one night went into a handbag.... unbeliveable - we had oranges each day and they were AI for gods sake.... so why steal them?
The room was fine and the shower was brilliant a real power shower....
WATCH OUT FOR THE MAINTENANCE MAN - we came back to the room one morning after breakfast and he had locked himself in our room and the wardrobe door was open - very strange as the only things in there was clothes and the SAFE! I questioned this and he said there was a problem woth the door card keys... there was nothing wrong with ours and so reported this to reception but heard nothing more about it... they were un-interested but what shocked us was when we told reception they asked if we had any money missing.....does this mean the maintanance man has a spare key for the safe??? we were not sure if we had any money missing as did not count this everyday but when you pay £35 you expect it to be safe..I reported this to ICR - with whom we booked....
The entertainment staff were good - Hakan, Nanu, Adam, John & Rachel - the ones the first week could'nt speak any English..
Fartih and the other bar staff were excellent.
The middle of our second week the sewage system packed up and from then on the hotel smelt terrible... No aircon in reception - well there was but they never used it and the temps were into the 50's.

We did notify the hotel about this but I still think he may have been trying your clothes on

I know that this hotel is changing next year to Aqua resort but to run hotel to the groung this year (if that is what they are doing) is incredibly silly of them as the bad reports will surely damage future bookings even under a new name.
Chocoholic------- the staff can only work with what they had. Its the Management of this hotel that are at fault. The bar staff, waiters etc, seemed to live in fear of the owner.
As for the "Russians",,, oh yes, they certainly were "Well In" at this hotel. Mainly with the Owner every night, preferential treatment etc etc............... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All I can say is that if this hotel (along with Oriental & Bellavista) is changing next year, there is certainly alot to do as even the Oriental was a mess. These hotels are just not looked after and a waste of money for anyone booked

we nearly booked to stay there instead chose noa negris things here have slowly gone down hill since we came last monday food varitey and last night only spirit left was vodka i no its coming to the end of the season as staff levels are going down but the hotel group seem only interested in making money as i would assume the bad feedback on forums will be a lot

Never said it was right to run hotel down. If you are LWalker_11 on TA you say the hotel needs updated and refurbished, I just stated that is what is planned for hotel.
You say location of the hotel is superb and if it was updated and refurbished it would be a good place to stay. If you are not LWalker_11 on TA ignore this.
New name, new ratings, the Mersoy Exclusive and Oriental will no longer exist. Have no information about Bellavista being updated only the Mersoy Exclusive and Oriental.

We stayed at the Oriental in September and have to agree with it being "run down" We dont usually go to a Hotel but decided to try it this year and how disapointed we were!! Never again Ill stick with self catering!!! It was a mess!! The gardens were full of broken sunbeds just left in a heap and stayed like that for the duation of our holiday!!!! We slept there only for 2 weeks!! Such a shame as when they do refurbish it people will look at the past reviews even if the name has changed!!!!!

Ha ha... yes we did think it was very dodgy....

My husband and I stayed the end Aug for 2 weeks usually stay in the blue rainbow and to be honest the mersoy exclusive is a lot better than the blue rainbow more up to date we stayed in the block above the reception and yes I would say the cleanliness of the rooms could have been a lot better but we only shower and sleep in the room we don't spend all day there as for the staff waiters and bar staff we found them very helpful and always spoke to you.
we went AL in both hotels and I would say the mersoy AL drinks were how would I say big measure in the blue rainbow it was plastic glasses and one glass per person and very very small measure and the boss watched every move the staff did made me feel unwelcome so my view is that compared to some the mersoy is not that bad and I would go back but going by the prices for next year I can't see it happening

Having looked at some of the posts shown about the same time as mine, I must say they were nearly all saying the same as i was and how bad it was. Looking at some more recent posts, the reviews are a little bit better, maybe they took heed of what was being said.
Be interesting to see what happens with this hotel for next year,, although I wont be going again - once bitten twice shy
