Just watched tv programe fake britton . It was showing fake vodka and other drinks being sold in england mostly local off-licence. But what my concern was tobacco golden virginia i bought my son a box of 5 pouches from dalaman airport on this tv show it says if it does not have snap seal on the pouch its fake. This tobacco i bought from dalaman duty free does not have a snap seal on it. bit concerning :?

Aye but that's Turkey for you  Tobacco's a killer anyway so I wouldn't worry too much...nicotine, fomaldehyde, cyanide etc etc [BTW, am a smoker so that's tongue in cheek]
Suppose when I'm an ex-smoker, i'd say why on earth do loved ones buy it

I don't think you have anything to worry about, I always get mine from Dalaman and it seems fine even though there is no snap seal on the packets. Also I have recently bought some Golden Virginia from Jesey and these did not have the snap seal either. I think the chap on the tv programme maybe slightly misinformed.

Just got some from Tenerife with no snap seal-its fine. As far as I know its just the UK packets that have the snap seal.

I have , in the past , purchase Golden Virginia from the Duty Free in Dalaman and it was what it it says on the packet , I dont think they are allowed to sell fake tobacco at the duty free , Buying it from the Market is a different matter !!!

It's not misleading at all. The programme is called Fake Britain and gave the correct information for how the product is supplied in the U.K.
