Anyone doing Akyaka on Friday?

Brilliant trip, really enjoyed it, apart from being shoved off the boat by my oh and having a near death moment!!

I was also on the trip on Friday, very good trip, saw Noodles have har moment!

Thankfully it wasn't captured on film, though I do have some pictures of the cracking bruise on my arm from whacking it on the boat!

Just discovered my near death moment actually broke my arm!! Went for an xray when we got back in uk, they said it was fine, but called me back on review last night - now got 6 weeks of it being immobilised. Really was a cracking day!

i was there too noodles i was the first one in the river from the same boat as you it was me who dared rachel to get in if i did after your hubby bottled out do you remember that bloody water was sooooo cold. sorry to hear about your arm theres no wonder you had trouble getting back in the boat. i should give him a whack with your good arm for what he did to you

I remember very well! Been to the fracture clinic today, it's not as bad as they led me to believe last week (I think the nurse paniced cause they missed it) so hopefully I'll just be splinted up for another 2 weeks. Was a brilliant trip though, will definitely do it again next May to see some more of the wildlife - although I'll remain firmly seated inside the boat next time
