Availability in Icmeler

Can anybody clear a few things up for me.
Can I buy Amber Leaf tobacco in Icmeler and if so how much would I expect to pay ? Can I also buy Menthol Cigarette tips or would it be best just to buy Menthol cigarettes (if I can get them) during my stay.
Also, someone told me that I can get all kinds of Tshirts, shorts, bags,purses etc...... Are they good copies and how much would I expect to pay for them.
This is my 1st time in Turkey so would like to have an insight before I go

Not sure on tobacco front, Anita smokes more menthol and we couldn't find menthol last year, but then she won't smoke anything else!
As for t-shirts etc you can pay as little or as much as you like.
I got 3 good handbags last year from the market for £10.
But as I said in a previous post, if you like one on display, have that one, as we we're given one from the stock pile, and when we got it home found it to have no lining!
We also bought 3 hoodies, 1 x super dry, too A&F and I think we paid £21 for all 3, and they're still in great condition a year later

I have never seen hand rolling tobacco in the shops in Icmeler and I did ask in a few last week but none of them sold it.

However, Amber Leaf is readily available in the Duty Free shop when you arrive at approx £20 for 5 x 50g (price is dependant on exchange rate with euro) Bargain!

As the shops do not sell the tobacco, I would very much doubt if they would sell tips. Why not buy them in the UK before you go from Poundland?

Please do not be tempted to buy English brand Tobacco/Cigarettes in Icmeler. They are all fake despite what you may be told by others. If you want to smoke hand rolled tobacco then buy it either duty free on the way out, on the plane or at the duty free at Dalaman Apt. (suitcase pickup). You can buy a good ready made menthol cigarette brand in Turkey. It's called SALEM. My wife only smokes BERKELEY MENTHOL in the uk but finds that Salem menthol are a good replacement.

Hi, my OH smokes amber leaf, never got it in resort but as has been mentioned already, really good price at duty free. Wondering if you're rolling your own when you're out there - OH finds that it dries out in the heat and switches to cigarettes when we're out there. Menthol cigarettes aren't like UK menthol, more like chewed chewing gum slightly minty - did find some in May that were better but not widely available - Meltems.

Brilliant copies are available of all goods mentioned, so are crappy copies! You'll pay peanuts but you do get what you paid for in most instances, haggle for the best prices or group together for a bulk discount - I use the same handbag man for everything handbaggy and for purses etc and get a very good volume discount, I've also been going to him for 3 years, so there is a "loyalty" discount too! Above all, have fun with the shopping, seek out the bargains, don't buy what you first see when you get there, suss out the good ones and get stuff later on - and always haggle down the price, it's expected and it's all part of the Turkish experience

you can def buy menthol cigs I used to smoke them.......they're called salem in a green and white packet

Hi Lucy , I smoke rollies too and when i was out there in May. I bought cigs and baccy from duty free.I smoked the cigs in the evening . I kept a empty cigy packet and rolled a job lot up sat on my balcony in the morning for through the day. Oho buy your tips and papers here , tips are hard to find and far more expensive then the UK
I did not smoke cigs all the time due to the fact , there far too expensive here and i dont want to get the taste for them again.
One tip ,, if there are no ashtrays on the table , smoke outside. Some bars/rest do not like you smoking if there busy which is understandable.
