the best place by far in the old town is tommys opposite the grand aquarium .walk up the dry canal and you will come to it on the left hand side just passed the miromonte apartments.

Hi,
Make sure you give the LOVE-STAR a visit. Super place with great food.
Chris &(soon to be mum) Hayley are two terrific hosts.
Cheers from the Geordie-Mafia.

If you come out the entrance of Ekinci and turn right then then right again on the main road and walk along for about 5 mins passing Cubana and Love star but staying on the road, you will come to a lovely Restaurant and bar called Bar One next to the Faber.Food is amazing and the Management and staff are lovely. Not one of the noisey pubs so you can actually eat in peace. I always visit at least a couple of time for a meal. but also like there for a nice quiet drink, or the occassional pub quiz. ENJOY!! :) :)

Tommy's is excellent but our favourite this year was definitely Sidik's and we went there three times. We hadn't been there before and they've now become the top restaurant on our list of favourites.

Have to agree with fifegirl. We ate here beginning of July. Warm welcome and excellent food which is very reasoably priced. Will definitely be paying it a visit when we are back in September

It depends on what type of food you want really. If you want Turkish, the Hanadan is great. If you are sick of Turkish, then The Travellers Rest or Harry Rams is hard to beat. If you want to spoil yourself then the cakes at Cafe Anne are really great. We ike to go arround trying out new ones the first week and then have a score card for repeat visits for the second week. You never know you may find a gem.

If you walk past the romance and keep on the road all the way up,over the crossroads with the we blew, and it's just a bit further on the right.
