Yes, you can buy cigs & tobacco at Dalaman airport. Be careful they will tell you that you can take some ridiculous ammount back - wrong!!!! Just the standard 200 cigs P.P etc. Turkey is not in the European Union. Officially any duty free purchased in whatever direction is considered against your allowance.

Have a super time - and a fall of soot :D :D

Yes you can, they didn't seem much diferent from the English ones. Cant help on the price it is several years since I bought any but at that time they were about the same price as the normal Turkish cigs,much cheaper than ours.

Hi;
just don't buy the 'real' English cigarettes in shops as they are all fakes, take my word for it tried several types and nearly burnt the lips off myself. the ones in Dalaman airport are ok though

Can't comment on the price but you are allowed to bring 200 cigarettes into Turkey and also buy another 400 at arrivals.
As has been said before, I've never seen anyone stopped on entering Turkey so don't know what would happen if you bring in more than 200.

I used to smoke Salem menthol cigs in Turkey until I discovered Violet menthol ones - they are slim and less harsh than Salem.
Don't know how much a pack of 20 is, but a sleeve of 200 is 50TL - just working my way through the ones I brought home :wink:
