Mid way through season landlord must be mad I'm afraid greed never comes to fruit

I'm afraid that it's not unusual for Turkey. Many of the landlords are just amateurs not very bright but very greedy. It happened to a well known and respected host, who I believe no longer has his own business, about 3 years ago. The landlord got very greedy and demanded an exorbitant rent which was impossible to pay so the business folded. That landlord was then stuck with an empty property for a full 2 years and finally rented it out for less than was being received prior to the demand.

This is happening to the Ozlem apartments next year. The landlord owns multiple apartments and has doubled the rent for next season.

The son doesn't mind it staying at that price, but it's it's the father who made the decision.

It does indeed Peli. Greed and stupidity or what?!
Last year a landlord in town put rents up soooo much before the season started, the lads who rented the bar from him declined and set up in some apartments. Cracking bunch of lads they are too!
Needless to say, the bar in town didn't open last year!!!

Surprise surprise, the landlord renegotiated with them for this year and they're back in town!
