Ironing. There is never enough time no matter when I start the holiday ironing to get it all done! Time goes really fast when you're getting the creases out of your shorts

I spend a lot of time on here, and enjoy looking at the pictures that JT puts on here too.
I've never been but feel like I already know the place a little lol.

I'm flying out on 24th July so like you, two weeks today I will also be there - can't wait, soo looking forward to it :)

fly out next Thursday at 7.00, so excited!! I can't relax, if I'm not on the forum I'm doing list after list to make sure I've got everything ready. You wouldn't think I was the parent, I'm the one jumping around with the kids giving me funny looks

Me and hubby both work full time and busy in our jobs so that passes the day by and then in the evening we are usually running about after our son. He starts Secondary school in September so my calender has been full this week of induction days, parents evenings, school reports, sports day and Year Six leaving play, school BBQ evening so not even had time to think about holiday this week which is great as we fly out 3 weeks on Saturday!!! Break up from work 3 weeks today and so very ready. We have our daughters 18th birthday next weekend so that is a busy weekend too so before we know it we will be packing and off to the airport :D

As I work full time in IT (yes boring I know lol) I also have a mobile disco business.

Thursday's I do a quiz night at a local pub,
Friday - Disco residency in Goole
This Saturday - no disco but going to meet potential client for a wedding disco next May, Also going out Saturday night to see a friends live band.
Sunday - Spend all day with my duaghter as she lives with her mum (my ex-wife)

That's pretty much how all my weekends pan out so nice and busy. I sometimes have disco's on Sat & Sun evenings but not this week

Next weekend is:

Thu - Quiz night
Fri - Resident disco (also break up from work)
Sat - 60th birthday disco
Sun - picking up daughter
Mon - hair cut and few last minute items
Tue - FLY TO TURKEY :) :)

It seems the general idea is stay on the forum and keep yourself going with the photos. I must admit, I am lucky enough to have been to Icmeler once this year already and don't have much time to go before my next one but I still need something to while away the time.
I've already done my holiday washing from the last one and now need to iron it all. Hate ironing at the best of times but knowing these are all items of clothing I really only where when I am away is totally different.

JT's pictures totally keep me going and I love it when I see something or somewhere familiar. Anyone having not been yet or never before will get that when you return. The beach, harbour and some of the old village roads. It all keeps me going till next time.

working and playing with our shih tzu puppy, dusty. I usually count the days until our three weeks in September but now three weeks seems a long time to be away from the pup, he has totally taken over lol :D :D :D
