The exchange rate took a bit of a dive yesterday. I got 2.78 in old village. I kept a look out and it was pretty much the same everywhere. If I see it change I will update

Hi Chris,

That's not much of a dive really, I think JT posted that it was 2.8 a few days ago, that's a drop of 0.02 - I can live with that lol.

In reality, providing it doesn't drop below 2.6 (and I doubt it will in the next few weeks) I'll be quite happy. :D

By the way, my hourly update on my laptop says 2.823 at the moment (and has been hovering around this for a while now) so anything near that figure is very good (2.823 is the bank rate by the way and you never actually get that).

It's climbing today recoverying from yesterdays loss, in fact the £ is doing well today against nearly all currencies, should be 2.80 on Monday again at the exchange places.

Deeve,

You misunderstand me, taking a dive was just a phrase and not at all a complaint.

I am merely trying to keep people informed and updated real time as others have done before me.
