Fallen behind

Postby Roy » 01 Jul 2012 15:25

Hi,
thanks to all who helped with some of my previous posts but I havn't posted outcomes, very sorry; yes did find the shoemaker in the underground market & he did a good job replacing the velco on the leather straps which only cost 20tl & they are now more secure.
Noodles, I did actually find the cats I was looking for :D  , took a few more days but they turned up one night I called on them; still there when I left but never they tired of the chicken.
Anyone frequenting Tin Tin  please give 'One Eye' something, tell her I was asking for her & will see her again in a few weeks & tell Rami not to torment her
Thanks again to all for their help & advice.
Kind regards
Roy.

Brilliant Roy, glad everything is still there in place, I have a lovely pair of sandals from the shoe man, he's incredibly good! Will give the kitties a tickle when we're next there :D

Noodles, forgot to mention that the cat at the Tez Tours (opposite the Sad B******'s bar, has another name but can't recall) office has had yet another litter of 3 or 4 kittens, cute little devils but Mum's wary & protective - understandably. That's close to where you said all the cats were near the canal/Rush Bar just round the corner.
Also saw some of the shoemaker's 'work-in-progress' & was impressed.

Glad you got your shoes mended and were pleased with the workmanship. I think the shoe man is wonderful. I've thrown shoes out because of the cost of getting them repaired at home, but in future, they will be going to Icmeler with me. You can't beat a pair of comfy shoes when you're on your feet all day, and when you've got a pair that feel like slippers, you like to make them last as long as possible. I haven't had any made yet, but one of these days.....
