I was there from end of September until 10th October last year and the weather was really warm and a bit cooler at night but changed on the last couple of days with a day of rain, cooler etc. However, I am just back and accommodation is staying open until November this year, with staff saying that the weather was later in starting this season so they expect it to be good until then but with weather who knows. Hope you are lucky and get it nice.

sorry Sigourney but you are going to get another mixed reply. My wife and I spent a week at the Eden Gardens in the first week in october last year, (great place), first four days really hot the rest iffy culminating in a torrential downpour on our last two days, that is why we are going in July this year for the guaranteed heat! I think it is pot luck in october.

We were there mid October last year, days were ok, mid 20's, but once that sun disappears behind the mountain at about 5pm - it instantly drops 10 degrees, the nights were really cold. Had to go buy uggs as my feet were freezing! All the bars had fires to sit round - it really was that cold!

we go every October, the daytime weather is usually hot but the evenings havebeen known to be cool, so take a jacket. It is a diferent sort of holiday as there are less people there and the restauants and bars have their windows down so they are nice and warm. It was the general rule that there was no rain until 17th but in the last couple of years we have had one or two storms before that date but these dont last long and in half an hour the streets are dry again. We love our late holidays, come back with a tan and ready for the English winter.

thats good to hear about it not lasting long and then been dry again, we would prefer no rain at all but if it does we could cope with that. We go the last week in sept and first week in oct.
