Hi Sigourney, what a can of worms you've opened haha. There are so many great places for food, so I suppose it depends what you fancy.... good food and a lively bar, either Venice or Majestic on canal. fab Turkish home cooked food but no music, Selam or Cafe Rose..good value and fab food VInces or Captain Bullshit.

Not sure what you mean about young person's budget?? Maybe you've more spare money than us oldies who are forking out for the family hahha. Only kidding - guess you mean somewhere cheap and cheerful? Pizza Timo is great value and really friendly, but then again you could try one of the traditional pide places

Hope this helps

Have to agree there are so many great places to eat. Just go in wherever takes your fancy, there is not usually a great deal of difference in price. One of our favourites, which has been consistently good over the years, is Venice on the canal. We were in Icmeler the last two weeks in May and our favourite this year was Captain Sinbad round the corner from the old mosque. Great food and in a lovely setting. Remember however you are in Turkey so every restaurant should be able to serve up pretty good Turkish food. On the menu steer clear of the 'International' dishes and look at the Turkish dishes they have. You won't be disappointed.

Hi Sigourney91,

Im 23, been going since i was 16!

Venice on the canal is always a good night out - Food and entertainment are both great!! :D

If u head down the road by the side of the Tansas, there are a few Turkish Places that are cheap and food is great!!

Kardalen (turkish food) opposite Tansas is great value for money!! We find ourselves in here alot - AMAZING food and a place the locals enjoy too, so the food must be spot on! They dont have entertainment but u can move onto a few bars after your meal.

Happy Holidays!

I can recommend Home Bar and Restaurant (across from Blue Rainbow). Fresh homemade food with a nice Turkish menu and very reasonably priced drinks. Very friendly staff and music to suit all tastes!

Also Champagne restaurant is very good. They have excellent steaks and good entertainment
