Location of alvaro apartments

Postby pip » 16 Jun 2012 16:38

Hi all,
I am an icmeler regular but am having a mental blank as to the location of the alvaro,
Look like as nice place to stay and all review seem good ( will have my 3 year old with me ) just wanted a heads up on the area before I take the
Plunge for next summer.

Thanks in advance.
Pip.

The Alvaro Apts are next to the Imperial Apts which are pretty much next door to Tansas.

The Alvaro is very close to Rush Bar, not near Tansas. Straight up from the main canal, new cash machines on your right, walk up past Eda Hotel, to the left of the small canal - Rush Bar on your right. First left after this and Alvaro is on your right :)

I was in a Travel agents today enquiring about an Austrian holiday and the manager came over and asked if I wanted a cheap week in Icmeler at the Alvaro next Friday.
Apparently some folks had to cancel and as they hadnt disclosed pre existing conditions the insurance wouldnt pay out.
She asked us to make an offer and my husband said £100 each but I said NO as I couldnt stand the heat.
This was from Newcastle next Friday, day time flights.
Shame its so hot or I could have got myself a real bargain.

Noodles, we were there in May and the Alvaro was next door to the Imperial, perhaps JT could settle this one

It is right behind the Babadan hotel, we are looking down on their two pools and water slide from our balcony, the kids and adults are having a great time there, it looks very busy, a little sun trap, they were having a great time last night, must have had some sort of show on, the pool was busy at 11pm, a lovely place.

I've stayed there before, popped in a few times at the end of May as a friend is working there. Nice place to stay. Funnily enough we were staying at Avlu 1 - not sure of the location of the Imperial, it's a new one on me, maybe there is another Alvaro up there too?

Pip, it is behind the Babadan hotel as you say. Pool is lovely :)

Ah, yes, thanks Steve, we were looking at them one day wandering back from Tansas, they do look nice but couldn't find a name anywhere to look them up - now I know! And they are next to the Avlu too, it all makes sense now!
