Very hot.

We went 3 years ago the last week in July and the first week in August and it was over 50 most days and on a night it struggled to get down into the 30's normally 40-42.

July and August are usually high in the 40's or even 50's. Really really hot. This is the only time that we can go. The only downfall of being married to a teacher!!!!! Roll on retirement.

We usually holiday in July. The only problem we have is that you need to have something on your feet when on the beach as the sand is so hot. 15 days and counting.... :D

We've been going in august for 7 years now and the weather is always in its 50s but we love it and it can be very hot and muggy at night as well but you will have a fab time :D

We did a better tan in May than the end of July last year cause it was waaaay to hot to sit in! It's nice on the beach with the breeze but you catch the sun even more. Don't know what it'll be like this year cause it was already very hot when we were there (can't believe we've been back a week already!)

I would for when you arrive home. It's quite a shock to come home from 50° :( or at least make sure you have some extra layers to put on. I see many people coming off the plane in their shorts and t shirts but I suppose it depends on whether you feel the cold or not. Without my extra clothing I think I'd suffer from hypothermia
