Just seen on Marmaris tv that as from July 1st the lovely Turkish bread will have to be served with gloves & have more bran content with less salt. We hope this isn't going to spoil the taste of our favourite bread.

Hate when they go and change something just for the sake of it. Love ekmek fresh from the bakery round the corner from Tansas. And have you ever noticed that whenever they tinker with the recipe of something, invariably to make it so-called "healthier", it never tastes as good?

slightly off topic I know but related in a way, they have changed the recipes and menus in the canteen where i work (royal mail) to a more "healthy" way of eating, no salt, flavourings etc. As a result less people use the facility and now is faced with closure. leave the food we love alone please!
