Dont suppose anyone has the phone number to the Travellers Rest?? Need to get hold of Christine prior to coming out in 2 weeks and I've lost the number - if anyone has it, could you PM me please - many thanks. :roll:

In defense of the Travelers Rest,I have had some wonderfull meals there,especialy if you like English Home cooked food and deserts.
Christine who is from Yorkshire and her Turkish husband can also do a full range of dishes from different countries.
Sorry to hear you have had a bad experience,must be some sort of mistake because it is not in Christine or her husbands nature to be rip off merchants as this can bad for bussiness as you have prooven.
My only complaint is they dont sell Efes on Draught only Tuborg.

hiya. sorry to say it was Christine herself who promised us sandwiches the next day, and in good faith we paid upfront for them as she sed there wud be no problems, wen we returned the next morning we found the place had shut down for the end of the season and are still 15 quids out of pocket, im sure the meals are lovely there but sorry wont be returning :( :(

Have to agree with Redrhino, sorry you've had a bad experience but we've always found Christine and Ramazan to be extremely good hosts and we've never had a bad meal there, she also helped us a lot last year with a problem we had .... anyway, enough of springing to the defence, can understand your feelings.

Have a nice holiday when you go .... :)

We were ripped off by Christine. She wanted to charge extra for the air con which she said was in with the price quoted. BE WARNED.

:D whats this about chrissy & ramazan ripping people off its not the chrissy & ramazan we know we have going to turkey for the last 5 years its the only place to get good home cooked food ! chrissy would be upset if she thought people were saying that she rips them off!

well im really surprised chrissy & ramazan & staff have always made our holiday in turkey ! did you tell chrissy you weren't happy with the service ! :roll:
