Is it too hot?

Because of the bad weather I have been looking for a holiday next week.
Every destination apart from Turkey is very expensive but when we last came in June(2007) it was too hot for us.
There are some great deals especially for 9 nights but worried it will be too hot.
Is there a breeze on the beach?

according to the weather forcast, it will be hot, but there should be a breeze, the other memebers that out there now might well help.

I have just come back from Calis Beach and we didnt like it.
We have also stayed in Olu Deniz and didnt like that either so there is no way my husband will go anywhere but Icmeler!
We like the beach so Hisaronu is a no go.

We have been coming to
Icmeler since 1992 and have come every October for the last few years so I chose a different resort for our May holiday.
It really was the last resort after visiting many other resorts in Turkey over the last 22 years we have decided we will only consider Icmeler.
We are coming back later in the year but after being in June 2007 which was unbearable for us I am worried it will be too hot.
Shame as some great deals available for next week for 9 nights which are cheaper than 7

Go for it, it beats being here lol
I used to go early June or late Sept but since visiting In July A couple of years ago I now go in July and September. Yes it is hot but then I'm not a sun worshiper and generally read in the shade and go in the pool to cool off. I have a walk around shopping and stop off for a drink or two along the way.
The evenings getting ready is a nightmare, but Ive found that if I have a shower first then lie down for a siesta the air con as worked its magic and it's not too bad lol

It is getting hotter by the day which I am personally looking forward to as I love the hot weather. But I know for some it is too much. I would say, go for it because of the good deal. But stay as cool as you can with shade, pool and drinks.

At least you can shop or go wandering either early or late in the evening. I think the humidity is fairly high too so possibly a little sweaty. But either way, I can't wait.
If you do decide to go, have the best fun!!

I am going to the travel agents tomorrow and try and get the web price.
As long as I have some shade we should be OK.
When we came in June 2007 it was reported to be 40c+ which was disputed by some folk back here but we spent the week in the shade!Luckily we stayed in a
hotel surrounded by pine trees.
This will be our 3rd holiday since March so we should be used to the heat!

We returned from 2 weeks last Saturday. On Friday it was up to 39 mid afternoon with no breeze at all and did feel a bit uncomfortable, that said, it was about the same the day before but quite windy so it was lovely. All the years I've been to
Icmeler it's more often than not been pretty breezy May/June so you should be fine. It was warm on the beach last week as the wind was coming from the mountains (I thought it odd at the time and have been wondering if there is any connection with the earthquakes?) but usually it's cooler when it comes off the sea.
If it is too hot, the red lion have already got the water mists on, so you could go hide in there!

Jay, if you can print off the web price first, the agent will give it to you. Especially if its with the same agent. I did the same a few years ago, with TC. Printed off the web price and they went online, asked the manager and we booked it there and then.
Good luck with getting your good deal and happy holidays!

Hi all got back early this morning and yes its hot and at 12 noon for a couple of hours its very hot. I last went 4 years ago so i was waiting to see the changes.
All the beach is public now and notices were put up while we were there. Hotels do not have priority anymore
Cheeky Bugger has lost his stall for the trips , police are cracking right down. To a point they are killing the atmosphere in my opinion.
WE DID HAVE A GOOD TIME THOUGH ...
Oho the really down side were the tremors, and it was the main talking point to those who experienced them.
There were 3 while i was there and to be honest i have never experienced them before in my 6 times at Turkey.
The last one was the worse, and did do some damage to our hotel. Glass cracked , walls cracked, and has a safety measure some people had there rooms moved due to damage. My husband was not worried what so ever as he has been in them in the States and assured me he has been in far worse. As for myself . i was more shocked by the earth moving under my feet. An experience for some . but not one i would like to repeat.
But we had a really good time . great tan, made new friends. and it still is a beautiful country

In all the years visiting
Icmeler in July I've never found it too hot even though on many days it's been in the 50s. Never had a problem yet in the warm weather at home a couple of weeks ago, I had prickly heat, unbelievable
But now I'm thinking about it I haven't got a pool to cool down in
