Hi - Do Thomas Cook Airlines send tickets through the post - or do they email e tickets as we are due to fly out on 07/07 and not had anything yet?
Many thanks.

If you booked with them for flight only online you usually print off the itinerary on the booking section using your booking reference number.

Spoke to T C re my flight only tickets ( flighing out in Aug ) and I was told they are now a ticketless airline and you need only your itinary and passport when you book in so don't worry.

If you've booked flight only I hope you're flying on a TCX flight not an OHY flight. If your flight is now with Onur Air, Thomas Cook have washed their hands of everything. You can't even book wheelchair assistance.

Spoke to Consumer Direct (recently changed their name to Citizen's Advice Consumer Service) who said that even though it's wrong, they can get away with it as they're now classed as 'agents' so the contract isn't with them. We have to phone Onur Air direct to try and sort things out. Hope we have better luck there than we had with TC.

Of course if your flight is still TCX or you booked a package you won't have these problems.

Check what your confirmation says, some flights are ticketless and some are etickets but your paperwork should say which.

TC usually send tickets between 10 and 14 days prior to departure if they are sending any.

we fly on friday but still havent recieved any tickets, booked last november,i have spoken to my local t/c but they havent recieved them yet either.i have the original booking details from them and they are telling me i can get tickets at the t/c desk at the airport---does anybody know if this is correct?
im very sceptical about driving to the airport and hoping that everything goes ok and have certainly been put off booking with them again as they have already changed my flights twice.

Yes you can collect tickets at the airport.

Last year I received my tickets and then they changed my flight! No new tickets were issued I was told to use the ones I had because the whole flight had changed and not just our seats. No problems with this though, checked in at Manchester and Dalaman with no issues.

We just flew tc ticketless. Got asked at the desk for our ticket booklet, said I only had the itinery, she said ok no issue. We had boarding passes too as we'd checked in online but they still insist on giving you another one when you get to the airport. As long as you have a confirmation with booking reference, I really wouldn't worry :)

Now, getting through to them to make a complaint about being charged £30 for extra leg room with no extra leg room is a whole different matter..... :?
