Ekinci Palace Meal Deal

Postby Canli » 09 Jun 2012 08:45

We stayed at Ekinci Palace a couple of weeks ago and I thought I'd mention their meal deal, which we thought was great value. If you have a set evening meal, starter, with a chicken main and dessert at 20 tl, or steak main at 25tl, you get a voucher for a free breakfast the next morning. The food is very good, with a good choice on all courses, and the full english breakfast will keep you going till well into the afternoon. I hope they're still doing it when we go back in october.

Glad to hear you had a good time at the Ekinci we are going there for two weeks on Friday. on another site there has been several negative reviews about the apartments and i was getting a bit worried, i will be happy as long as it is clean and tidy i dont mind basic as we will be spending very little time in the apartments. Did you find your camera?
We will also eat a few times at the Ekinci but i do like to try new places and visit my fave restaurants, i try and share where i spend my money.
any tips on the best rooms to get would be appreciated.
Thanks
Sandy

We are there for 15 days in September so it is good to see threads like this. They have a lot of returning customers (check their facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/ekinci.palace - loads of photos, etc) which always bodes well imo.

Like yourself, we will be spending very little time in the apartments but we will be making good use of their facilities including the restaurant and, more importantly, the bar  All we ask for is that our apartment is clean and in good order, so i've made a point of getting to know them on their fb page so they can cater to our request for a ground level apartment as my missus has some mobility problems.

A holiday is, first and foremost, what you make of it. I disregard a lot of the reviews I read online, positive and negative. I judge the ones I believe to be truthful, which includes just about every review I read on here, and form my opinion of a place based on those.

We've stayed at Ekinci 3 times now, and just booked to go back in october. We only use it as a place to sleep and hang our clothes, but we do like it there. Nice location, on the edge of the old village, but not too far from the beach and town bars/restaurants. We know the staff, and they know us. They're there when we want them, but they don't hassle us at all. We do eat in the restaurant sometimes, because the food is good. There is a small mini market for essentials in reception, and a larger market just round the corner, with plenty of bars and restaurants close by if you don't want to go into town, The pool is a good size with plenty sunbeds and a water slide for the kids, if that's what you want. If you go into town at night, most of the restaurants will give you a lift home if you eat there, even pick you up if you book. We've had rooms on ground, 1st and second floors, but now always ask for upper floors as we don't particularly like people walking past our "front door" day and night.

No, Sandy, unfortunately I didn't get my camera back, but got a new one now, so will have to go back and try to take all the pics again.

Full English breakfast was 7 Lira and lunch was about 10 Lira (omellette and chips salad). Only ate here once at the evening and that was the Turkish night and the food was very good with 4 different shows, turkish dancing, break dancers , juggler and the robot and that cost about 20 TL. You will have a good time at the Ekinci. I am staying opposite the Ekinci this year in June so will post their prices on my return. Bar prices are reasonable too.
