Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Hi all,

Was wondering if there are any little areas outside of Icmeler which we could go and visit while we are there for two weeks as we was there for 3 weeks last year and didn't really venture anywhere so would like to see a bit more of Turkey. Any suggestions?

Take a bus from the main station in Marmaris to Orhania (spelling ?) We did this a couple of years ago and had a great day out. There is a small marina there and a few small bars. We had lunch in a bar by the sea, no menu just whatever had been caught that day served with a salad. I think the bus is about 10 am and returns about 4 pm. It's in a nice little bay and sunbeds are available at the bars. I also think there is another small village a little further on.

Orhaniye is the name of the place ashington44 mentioned.You can also go to Datca or Turunc by dolmus, I think you can get it near the end of the sloping road that leads to the Wednesday market.
