Which boat trip!?

Postby Cameron » 16 May 2012 20:20

:D Hello guys/girls,

New to this site but I am very curious as to what is the best boat trip that could be done from ICR.
It is my girlfriends 21st and I want it to be very romantic and peaceful, I was thinking of a trip to Rhodes? But still very unsure, she loves to bask in the sun, relax and swim a little, we love nice sights etc too.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks! Cameron.

Hi Cameron, welcome.

Only 1 trip involves Rhodes as far as I know, and that is the fast ferry from Marmaris which I think takes an hour or so? Not quite romantic lol.

ICR do a moonlight cruise for £8 incl. meal which is amazing value and sounds like it could be very romantic.

There are other boat trips available to some beautiful places, all of them offering great swimming opportunities as far as I know. Have a look here;

Cameron,

I have been to Icmeler numerous times and have also been on several boat trips, lazy days, blue water etc. The best by far was the ICR all inclusive boat trip. The boat is smaller than the ones from Marmaris and all the people on the boat booked through ICR so it is easy to also make a few friends and chat. The boat is not crowded as the numbers are restricted. The food and service was as usual very good and it was a very relaxed atmosphere.
There were numerous sunbeds on the top deck if you wanted to use them and we stopped for swim breaks regularly.

The trip to Rhodes is just more or less a ferry trip not exactly romantic, just like crossing the channel at home (only a lot hotter and not so rough)

Hope you have a great time.

Haha, thanks guys sounds great, don't think I will go for the Rhodes one after all.
I will have a long hard think about it! Just something relaxing and peaceful would be great, think that 'Moonlight Cruise' sounds nice will more than likely do that. But wanted one for the day, a nice day out.

Any more recommendations would be great! Personal experiences etc?

Go next Sunday so best get booking quick!! Haha.

any of the boat trips are nice and like someone said they do a moonlight cruise, if you cant do the moonlight cruise and you want a romantic meal you may be able to get a table put on the little jetty or on the beach near Deniz kapisy or harmony ive seen this done a few times im sure you will get sorted

If you want quality book with ICR. if you want cheap theres hundreds but be careful, you get what you pay for. ive stopped going on all inclusive trips as they were supplying poor quality drinks. i got a boat trip last year for £6 each. could buy proper pop and efes on board but prices are dearer. i suppose they need to make the money some how. still, a full day out with lunch for £6. where else in the world would you get that? god i love turkey
