Anything from 90 minutes to 3 hours depending on long you have to wait for everyone to collect lugagge and board the coach, plus the number of stops before your hotel. We always get a private transfer now.

Worth a phone call to your tour operator to find out. If it's a big coach it could take a very long time and you might prefer to book a smaller bus or private transfer. Some packages use local minibuses as their transfers so there are less drop off points and it's usually quicker - I say usually, I've not been on many that haven't got lost in Marmaris looking for places and at 3am they struggle to find someone to ask! Have a great holiday :)

On one occasion using T.C.from touch down at Dalaman to reaching our accommodation took Four and a half hours Longer than the flight time.

As we are always 'flight only' we have to arrange our own transfer and now always book a private one - more expensive but well worth the extra cost. Whenever we did a package holiday for some inexplicable reason, our hotel was always the last one to be dropped off. This happened year on year and seemed quite uncanny. We only ever booked a minibus transfer once and after that, never again (it was not the ICR transfer bus). On that occasion, we waited for nearly an hour at Dalaman for another flight to arrive and then set off with just 4 families on board. After only 15 minutes the driver pulled off at a restaurant/gift shop stop where we stayed 30 minutes while he ate his dinner. As we had spent an hours wait at Dalaman sitting next to a cafeteria where the driver could have eaten this seemed quite ridiculous. The drive from there to Marmaris had to be one of the slowest we have ever experienced. At one point, on an incline, we were even overtaken by a clapped out old tractor, the toothless old driver grinning and waving a victory bag of onions. We felt like we were in a Benny Hill sketch! When we arrived in Marmaris is was then 3 hours since boarding the minibus but our troubles were by no means over. Two families were staying in Marmaris, while we and one other group were staying in Icmeler. After driving round Marmaris for another 30 minutes it was perfectly obvious that neither the driver nor his assistant had a clue where to find the hotels. When we passed the same family, sitting outside the same bar for the third time there was mini uproar and much frantic calling on mobiles. Eventually, one family spotted their hotel for themselves and the second hotel was located after the driver stopped to ask at a local shop. When we were finally dropped in Icmeler it was 4 hours since leaving Dalaman, which must be something of a record. I cancelled the return leg, and a transfer already booked with the same company for a holiday some months later, but not without argument and hassle. If your bus transfers work efficiently then that's great but, otherwise, treat yourself to a little luxury.
