Final update from resort.

We have now been here since the 30th April and its been glorious everyday. Today it was 31 in the shade and 47 next to the pool. Hot very hot. Exchange rate holdling at around 2.8. Went on the new trip yesterday to Akyaka and the Gokova Bay. Quite simply its the best trip I have done in Turkey.

Out by Jeep to the most beautiful coffee stop I have seen at the Olive Farm, then boat. Now if you have been to Dayalan and done the the river trip, then this is the five star version. Wildlife is amazing, colour of the reeds unbelievable.

The town, well is great not spolit by us in anyway. Great hidden luxury hotels, great beech full of Turkrish people enjoying the great weather.

The food on the trip is in local resturant and was excellent.

We have 5 days left and I can honestly say its been the best holiday in years. Icmleler is now getting a bit to busy of a resort for us...Please don't have a go I know many of you love it and we still do, but we English do have a habit of making everything our own.

Have a look at Akyaka and you might just understand. I wish all that are due to come a great holiday.

The trip is called the Akyaka Tour. Tickets for the trip can only be purchased online at Icmeleronline.com or in person at one of the following offices in Icmeler;
ICR Travel Office in the centre of town.
G-Day Travel next to Vinces Restaurant

Tour starts at approx. 9:30 - Pick up from hotels or from a designated meeting point
Tour ends at approx. 17:00 - Drop off at hotels.

As above you can have lunch at your choice with discount. Chicken or stuffed peppers or vine leaves or lamb all served with rice yoghurt salad and bread. To be honest this is a turkish resort so English would be hard to find although I did see a pizza sign.
