Hi and welcome to the forum. Can not speak about the hotel as not stayed there but you will find the resort either quiet or loud depending on what you like. There are some lovely quiet bars to sit and have an enjoyable drink and also some more lively bars with entertainment but above all else you will have a wonderful time in resort and will probably never want to go anywhere else after your visit.

Siesta is situated down a side street, very central for everywhere. Not stayed there myself, but it always seems busy. I`m sure you will enjoy yourself in paradise. Welcome to the forum :D

The Siesta is ok. Rooms are not large but adequate. Nice pool, quiet area - but very close to the centre. Staff are mainly the same each year. Nice breakfast area & bar area by the pool. Icmeler has a charm all of its own it's not a noisy place. If you do fancy some noise and entertainment some bars/resturants will provide it. Other bars are chill bars - quiet with no entertainment & some bars are sports bars that show all sporting events. There are two night clubs if thats your scene. If it's a really crazy night out you want then you need to go to Marmaris (Bar Street).Lot's of little shop's to nose around in if thats your thing. Personally I break out into a cold sweat and shudder when the Shop--- word is mentioned.

You will have a great time

We stayed there four years ago and had a great time, as David says the rooms are smallish but clean. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is very good. We have not stayed there since but go several times each holiday to have a drink and meal with the Manager. We are coming out on the 24th so I am sure we shall see you there. We are four in number, three grey heads and one with grey beard so if you see us do speak.

ah thats great i shall look out for you folks and say hi, sounds like a good place for a holiday, we are both late 30's and its our first time away without the kiddies so i am so excited i cant tell you, does the hotel have a lift to higher rooms as i have a crutch (just getting mobile again after breaking my leg) so i'm a bit bad with steps, i did email the hotel but no reply, so will just have to hope for the best i think x  either that or get a fireman lift off hubby, which i dont think he will appreciate lol x

Yes there is a lift so you will be fine. We are, as the silver/grey hair suggests, somewhat older than late 30's. As Silverfox said if you see us about please make yourself known.

Hi Lolly37,we stayed there last year for 28 nights and it is the best holiday we have had up till now it was so good we will be back tomorrow for 28 nights so will still be there when you arrive. The rooms are not very big but we do not spend much time in it, all the staff are great i have never laughed as much in my life, you can also use the sister hotel the Juniper across the road. Jackie

Although Icmeler veterans, we are staying at the Siesta for the first time in July. I must say that from all of the reviews I have read, I can't wait!
