i-pad laptop on the plane

hi, can any body tell me if you are allowed to take a i-pad or laptop on the plane, i am flying with thomas cook , thanks :?:

I use my Ipod or Phone as long as WiFi is switched off, shouldn't be a problem...

yeah you can take it on the plane as long as the wi-fi function is completely disabled and they are switched off during take off and landing :)

I'm taking my IPad so I can watch films on the flight, turn the wifi off and put it in airplane mode like you would with a mobile phone and it won't be a problem

They can be used except when the seat belt light is on and as long as wifi and 3g are turned off.
