Hi all of to sunny icmeler 26th may the 7am flight from Glasgow staying at the dilhan anybody stayed there? also in aug we stay at the devamli any info ta.Edinburgh for august anybody on board any off the flights. Enjoy ur hols all.

stayed at dilhan last year , very small rooms (clean), breakfast not bril, but be very careful with your money, we had money taken out of our safe which is next to reception, and our friends had money taken from there room a week later. see you in buffalo bar as we are in icmeler at same time as you

The Dilhan is fine if you are happy with basic, which we were when we stayed there so was fine.
Very clean rooms, cleaned every day.
Swimming pool is all one depth, so unless you're a good swimmer you won't be able to touch the floor unless your a good 6ft 4" tall!
We also had travellers cheques go from our safe (we think) but can't prove that as we didn't write the numbers down, but didn't spend £600 in 2 days!!!
We had a friend there who did have stuff they'd bought go missing!
The main reason most people stayed at the Dilhan was the barman oz, who has now left after many years there, and is now at the buffalo.
But location is brilliant, close to everything, and very quiet at night.

Email the Devamli before you go and ask for a room on the back of the hotel on the top floor.
These rooms have been updated and seem more spacious that the other floors.
The front rooms are subject to road noise but the rear ones have a lovely view over the village and towards the hills.
If you have a late flight home they charge £15 to keep your room until 5pm but if you book a room before you go you will be able to keep your room until you leave.
We only paid £9.75 each for an extra night HB so had our meal in the Loveboat before we left.

Reading the other posts on the Dilhan and I'm sorry to hear about possible thefts, I know this was discussed at length on a previous threads so I won't dwell on it.

I have stayed there about 10 times in total and had a fantastic time every visit. I can also say that I have never had anything go missing either from my room or my safe and at no time whilst I have been there have I heard anyone complain about thefts etc.

My biggest gripe with the hotel is the lack of TLC and investment that the owner was paying to the place. For that reason I have not booked to stay there this year.

If you have booked please don't be worried but then again please don't expect 5 star luxury either.

Oz will be a sad loss to the hotel as he gave it that bit of something else but I wish him all the best in his new job at the Buffalo.

My sister stayed in Dilhan last August and loved it. She had no problems. Close to beach and main road.
When you going in August. WE go 25th from Glasgow. Can't wait
