Staying Longer Than 90 Days/Spousal Visa
Posted: 22 Apr 2012 08:35Does anyone who lives there know of a way (other than nipping out of Turkiye for the night) of extending a stay from 90 days to more than 180?
I'm planning to stay next year for a minimum of 6 months and was going to apply for a residency permit once I arrive but I have read that for this I will need to show evidence of my accommodation (rental agreement/lease etc) which I won't be able to do as I will be living with my husband in his rented apart (which is not in his name).
Can anyone tell me if this is correct and if so how I can extend my stay please.
Since writing this post I have read about a spousal visa that I could apply for that would entitle me to stay for longer periods.
