Hi all

I want to ensure I have a cracking time in icmeler when i go.
Please could everyone tell me there top 10 suggested unmissable things to do while there ?? More if you like... Places to visits.. trips to go on... anything.......I am going to try and do them all.

I've only been once, 6 years ago, so I can't say 10 things. These are what we will DEFINITELY be doing when we go back in September tho...

A shave and haircut, Turkish-style (not sure what the missus will say about that lol)

Stell Show at the Harmony Bar
Akyaka trip
Icmeler to Marmaris walk

In addition to those already mentioned:
Turkish bath
Visit Turunc - taxi boat one way and dolmus over the mountain the other
Have a proper Turkish breakfast
Visit mosque
Visit the market
Watch the sunrise over the beach
Walk to the flag

first on my list is to relax definally go on a boat trip they are great! and if you want a laugh go and see the stella show and visit the markets there are many bargains out there

You'll find loads to do and see, but top of our list is the Stella show, a turkish bath and a wander round the old village, chatting to the the "real" locals. Got to agree with Mupton - a large efes is the first thing on the list, and many more after.

Thats my kind of holiday

there are plenty of things to do and try in icmeler
recommendations from me include:
a turkish bath at the start of your holiday - helps your tan
a visit to the mosque
a trip to turunc
walk round the old village

As well as all the other suggestions you can also try Scuba Diving(full day) or Quad bikes(Morning or A/noon).
We did both last year & it was great.
Whatever you choose i,m sure you will enjoy.

There are so many things to do that it's impossible to just name only 10 top things

Here are some of our "must do's":
- visit Hamam (turkish bath) and get a good bath with oil massage
- wander around the Old Village and have apple tee at the "mens cafe"
- bargain at the Wednesday market
- visit Marmaris bazaar several times
- take a boat trip with Orca to Dalian Mud Bath
- eat Kebap for lunch at Erdem Cafe
- dinner cruise
- jeep safari
- have cheese cake at Cafe Anne
- visit Turunc Monday market ( take a dolmus there in the morning and taxi boat back in the afternoon)
- visit Beauty Salon and get everything done at the same time
- take a dolmus to Marmaris and slowly walk back late in the evening, when you can see all the Icmeler lights shining and hear the music, stars on the sky .. . love that!
- and of course sun bathe at the beach for hours and hours....!
