First Timer

Postby Alex1988 » 16 Apr 2012 06:03

Hello all. I am going to Icmeler for the first time in June with my uncle (forum member Teac532s) and i am really looking forward to it. My 7 year old daughter will also be with me. Would there be a lot to do for a 7 year old in Icmeler or do we need to go to Marmaris for a few things?. Really looking forward to this and can not wait.

Thank you

Hello and welcome to the forum. Icmeler is a lovely little place. This will be my fith trip in three years. It has a lovely little beach which I am sure your little one will love. There are lots of nice excursions and trips you could do which include boat trips, go-carting, water parks, pony treking and lots more! There are a couple of nice parks in the village and you can also hire bikes too! Follow this link to ICR for some of the many excursions you can do http://www.icmeleronline.com/icmeler_excursions.php I am sure other forum members will have lots of ideas, help and advice for you too! Have a fantastic holiday :D

Wow, your first time to Icmeler, what a treat you and your daughter are in for!
Assuming you both swim, the boat trips are brilliant, and still fun if you don't. You must do a Jeep safari, expect to get very wet, very dirty and don't forget the water guns!
Take a look at ICR trips http://www.icmeleronline.com/icmeler_excursions.php for a really good selection of trips.
The staff in the bars and restaurants are all geared up to keep the kids entertained so that the parents can sit back and relax.
Oh, and be prepared to read a lot of replies to your question. The Icmeler community here love nothing more that helping newbies.

Welcome to the forum. We have visited Icmeler for many years and I have never experienced any children being bored. As the previous posts state there is plenty to do and the staff in the hotels and restaurants are great with children. Hope you and the kids enjoy your first time and continue to visit in the years to come. :D

Thanks all , it sounds wonderful. I am really looking forward to my first visit and I know this will not be my last.
I must admit I was a little concerned but my uncle has assured me that the turkish people are the friendliest he has met and I will have nothing to worry about. I feel relaxed about it now after reading the replys here as well so really looking forward to it now. 8 weeks from today , can not wait
