Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Hi does anyone know if the main bus station at marmaris is in the town centre or if not where and if I'd need a taxi to get there from Icmeler. We normally rent a car but are thinking of getting about on the bus this time and would like to travel further afield.

It is just outside the centre on the road that goes to the port

You can always get coaches further afied in Icmeler bus station

not sure if the dolmus are still taking the same route this year as the tansas in marmaris has moved
but if they are taking the same route then you just get on the normal orange icmeler dolmus to marmaris as far as it will go which should be the old tansas (not sure now) then from there get the blue/turqouise marmaris dolmus which says otogar on it and it will take you straight there
it is on the outskirts of marmaris just before the road up to the steep mountains
