Share your Turkish

Hi All,

I've always believed that if we visit another country then we should at least attempt their language even if it's just hello and goodbye.

While we were in Icmeler in September our barman Remzi taught me a little bit of turkish each day which I wrote down in my phone how it actually sounded rather than it's correct spelling and it worked wonders for me.

Just thought it may be a good idea to compile a thread of words and phrases written how they should sound to help people out while they're in Turkey.

I'll start things off:

• Osh shakal (correct spelling: hoscakal) - Goodbye
• Na sal snnn (correct spelling: nasılsın) - How are you
• Eeem (correct spelling: iyiyim) - I'm Fine

The above are based purely what I was taught so if they are incorrect and mean otherwise I apologise...haha :lol:

ben = me
sen = you
benim = my
senin = your
adding lar or ler onto ends of words makes them plural :)

I would appreciate help with the following: Skimmed milk; no fat yogurt; sugar free coke; soda water and lime. Having lost a lot of weight with Slimming World I don't want to be putting it all on again so hopefully someone can help me.
