Hi, I can only comment on the Villamar. We have stayed there twice, once in June, once in November. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after June (the room we had was tiny but clean). Breakfast wasnt up to much. We decided to give it a go after seeing someone else's room and asked for a larger room the next time. It was absolutely awful, I would liken it to a prison cell. When we arrived at night the beds were not made. My husband went out on the balcony and the ashtray was full of cigarette ends. Our room had one double bed and one single in it. At breakfast as it was getting near to the end of the season, there was no bread. Our rooms were not cleaned properly either. We swore after that time we would never go back there. The swimming pool also looked as if it hadnt been cleaned for years!!! Sorry to be so down on this place, but you wanted an honest opinion.

Personally I wouldn't stay at the Diva again, I can only describe the rooms as beyond basic. There wasn't even a shower tray just a hole in the floor so the bathroom floor was constantly wet. :?

Babadan Hotel which JT has posted would be a better option, I have looked at it myself and its a possibility for next year :D

Haven't had direct experience of either, but staying in the Eda last year there were a few people there using their pool staying in both of them (and that speaks volumes in itself cause the Eda ain't nothing to write home about!). They all commented that the rooms were very small. If you're used to staying at the Kapmar, then it'll probably feel like you are staying in a wardrobe compared to their enormous rooms! Both are in a great location, much as the Eda is, but I wouldn't stay in any of them to be honest, we've looked at the Diva purely for the location but dismissed for many of the reasons already stated.

But, on the other hand, it depends what factors are really important to you, we also wouldn't stay at the Kapmar again - no issue with the rooms at all, they are amazing, but we didn't much care for the manager and found little atmosphere. Some of these smaller hotels might lack in facilities, but make up for it with the personalities of the people working there, the food, the atmosphere in the bar, round the pool etc etc. And then some of them don't...
