for the last 4 visits we have stayed at the old village area but this year for a change we are staying at the avlu 1 apartments, they seem pretty good on their website but i would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has stayed there recently.

I have never stayed there but we stay next door to them. They are in a relay good location, very central and close to Tansas which is handy. They always look very nice when you walk past. Gives you the impression of been a very clean and well kept place.

stayed at avlu 1 around 4 years ago rooms basic but clean good size pool,nice bar snack area would probably go back there again but liked the other avlu better

I've not stayed there but my other half has, every year he says he wants to stay there again cause they are great, the people running them lovely. So this year we've booked for 2 weeks at the end of May

they very clean , staff are great, lovely breakfast , they have a face book
the rooms are a good size well equipt whith everything u need for a sc holiday

We stayed there in 2010 and will be back in June.
Nice apts., size and facilities are usual for turkish sc properties. Definitely one of the cleanest we've used. Staff were friendly and the poolside bar and snacks were cheap. AC and safe are extra but at usual prices (safe is in room).
Plenty of sunbeds and the only critique I would make is the pool is deep with only a tiny pool for younger kids.
We loved the Avlu 1. which is ironic because when we first went to Icmeler, we were offered it by our local travel agent and I declined because it was behind shops. We needn't have worried, it was one of the quieter apts we've stayed in.

We stay there twice every year, have done for the past 6 years or so. They are in a prime location, have everything you could possibly need for a holiday, they are clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful.
They are not the poshest apartments but offer a good value for money base for a great holiday. We couldn't get in due to it being full last September, so we stayed at the Bahar which is not a patch on Avlu 1.
If you have children, be aware that there is no shallow end in the swimming pool.
Our grandson has to wear armbands all the time around the pool area.
We will be back again early June and late September.

After many years of staying at various apartments around Icmeler we are trying the Avlu 1 this year for a change. They look to be in a prime position and the pictures look good. Hopefully these apartments will match the standards of all the previous ones we have stayed at. Glad to read all the good reviews.
