Turkish TV is full of the really bad weather which is across most of Turkey, apart from the south east and west of the country. I noticed this morning on the weather report of a -35 temperature in some central parts of Turkey! Now that's cold !

Today here has been beautiful, not sure what the temperature was but it was gorgeous and of course made better as the nights are drawing out too! Still got the chill factor though out of the sun.

We had to go to Mugla on Thursday and I was shocked to see how much of the new road just outside Marmaris in parts were covered in huge boulders which had been dislodged from the mountains! I wouldn't like to have been driving when they were sliding down the mountains! We have had torrential rain over the last few weeks which is obviously the cause of this. There are walls being built in places along the new road to hold the mountain back but it is scary when you look at some of the rocks and they look quite loose in places! There are lots of waterfalls too which have sprung up. There is definitely no water shortage here!

Was in Ankara a couple of weeks ago when all the snow hit
was really bad weather but the Turks coped with it very well with limited delays and closed roads :)
