Hi Everyone, going back to Icmeler this year after a few years back at Olu Deniz, and was wondering if the small turkish restaurant (where alot of turks went) beside the Love Boat was still there, I have to say it served Turkish cuisine at it`s best.

Regards, Fakir (From Dundee) (my Turkish name)

Cant say Ive ever tried that one but if you want real Turkish food at its very best you must try Hanedan Restaurant - absolutely brilliant!

I can't actually picture a Turkish restaurant beside the Love Boat, but I do agree with cassielucy - the Hanedan is well worth a visit!

Same - there's a little kebab place further along from the Florida (next to a barbers) but that's in the opposite direction.

The last time we were there, we arrived early morning, must have been around 3.00 4.00 am, we found this little place which was still open, all the local guys who were finishing their shifts were all coming into the restaurant and having something to eat. The kitchen was way up at the back, quite a basic looking place, however the food was out of this world.
Thanks for all your help,

Fakir

yes - it was still there last year - it is the best place for the turkish kebab.... but Murat who used to work there (he was the one who spoke best english) was not there, which was a shame... we will be there again this year too in July - we arrive in the early hours and will be heading straight there.. delicious :P

Could someone tell me where Hanedan is please..... we love Turkish food, and havent come across this one.

One that we do recommend, apart from Sidik's, is Lal, which is down the same road, not far from Romance Palace.

Hanedan is quite near Lal, actually - down the road a bit and on the other side, before you get to the Romance Palace.

Hanedan is at the top of our list of favourite restaurants with the Sizzler a close second. The food is excellent and the presentation outstanding.
