I'm fancying a little bit of winter sunshine and came across a great deal in February for Lara Beach, however, on checking out the BBC weather it said 8 degrees today - that's colder than here! Is that right? I had in my head that it would be much warmer given they have a year round tourist "season" in that area.

There are certain "weeks" where Turkey over all goes through this sort of cold, chilly weather however it does not last too long. I remember people swimming in the sea in both
Icmeler and Antalya in the middle of February so its just a temporary climate at the moment...

We went to Belek a couple of years ago in February, had two days of rain and then 10 of glorious sunshire, we had a day trip to Antalya, had a lovely sunny day. We spent most of the time sunbathing around the pool or on the beach and came back with a great tan. The nights were quite cold but you expect that.

I've been to Antalya several times in january/february and usually it's quite warm and pleasant, but last time it poured down non stop for 3 days and was really cold when we got there, but brightened up and was around 10 - 14 degrees for the next few days. Just don't expect wall to wall sunshine and summer temps.

Not long back from Antalya, was gorgeous but very cold. I would imagine weather would perk up in the next month or so. If not there is plenty to do and see around Antalya enjoy your holiday
