hotel siesta

Postby EMZ » 02 Sep 2006 15:54

i ust got back from icmeler on tuesday after staying for a week at hotel siesta. i was far from pleased with it. the rooms were tiny comared to all the pictures i saw of it before i went. the reception staff were very rude and not very welcoming. the airconditioning started leaking water inside the room and it took 2 days before any one bothered to fix it. the maids rarely cleaned our rooms and our towels were only changed once while we were there. i definately wouldnt recommend it to any one and i would never consider staying there again! apart from the hotel my holiday was really good, we decided we wouldnt let the hotel spoil it for us!! :D

You have had a totally different experience to us. We stayed at the Siesta in late June of this year and had no problem at all. We stayed at the Juniper last year. Yes, I would agree that the rooms are smaller than they look in the brochure, but they were very clean and comfortable. The size of the room does not bother my wife and myself, after all, it is only a place to rest your head and get changed. The staff at both Siesta and Juniper were the friendliest we have ever known. Alp, Sadik & Fatih working the bar were excellent. Faritih, the head chef could not do enough for us. The manager Mr Kadem Mete would come and chat to us around the pool and was very approachable with good english, as he had graduated from Oxford. Our towels and beds were changed every other day and the room was very very clean. We will be going back next year. If you think the Siesta rooms are small, you should see the rooms at Diva Hotel and the top floor of the Juniper.

I stayed in the Siesta in May and found it to be fine!

Yea the rooms wasnt very big and the shower abit dodgy, but end of the day it did me. I always believe you get what you pay for and my holiday was cheap and therefore wasnt expecting anything special. All in all the rooms were clean, staff were chatting and the location is ideal!

Sorry you didnt enjoy your stay emz, alteast you still had a good time

xx

hey i just came back on wednesday i stayed at the siesta i wouldnt stay there again allthough we only sleep there and the air conditioning was free the service we had when we arrived there was poor the men didnt greet us or smile the whole time we was there. me and my friend was constantly drunk and everytime we came bk to get money ot stuff they used to just shake their heads at us. The maid came in everyday and she did clean our room well. i have never been to hotel in icmeler when the people who work there dont speak to u the one man did crack a joke towards the end of the week and the one man who worked on reception didnt say anythin to us apart from lift your top up and show me your boobs!!!! hmm
the location was fine as it was right by the pleasure club which was good for me and my friend. me and my friend are booking this saturday for a week in may and 2 weeks in august dont know wot hotel yet tho!
