When October ended the first rain
Icmeler saw was about the 12th December and every day up to that was in the mid 20's and some days more.
The reason the bars start to shut early in October in my opinion is because the people that own the flight companies try to RIP OFF the people that want flights by charging stupid prices because thjere is half term holidays in the UK and because they are different times across the UK they put the prices up after the first week in October.
People will not pay the stupid prices they ask, the bars start to close because no one will pay the prices and then the flight companies stop the flights
Resorts are run by flight companies.
Antalya is open and flights go there because the flight companies want it open albeit all inclusive deals and cheaper because it is off season.
Spanish tourism started 30 years before the Turkish resorts so have a head start and eventually they put flights on through the winter because of the ex pats that had bought there anbd themselves and their families needed flights, the bars stayed open (ok not all) so there was a supply and demand.
Maybe in 5-10 years time when the Turkish resorts are a bit "older" we may see it happening here.
Maybe the council could bring in a bylaw and cap the number of licensed premisesallowed to open in the resort and maybe that would make it a bit easier on the resort
