Hi Patsie,
Re; Monarch flying from Bristol, no they dont, but Birmingham do. Have a look on the easyjet website, i booked our flights for Sept - Bristol to Dalaman, about 10 days ago and got it for £340.00 for the two of us, this included luggage and the dreaded credit card fee, (flying out on 16th for 2 weeks). Which ironically was £62.00 cheaper than the Aegean flights i had previously booked and lost....... Happy hunting.....

Jools :)

If you booked with a credit card the difference between the cost of the original flights and the cost of the new flights can be claimed back and they refund pretty quickly so you end up only paying the amount of your flights with H4U. If not, Thomas Cook seems safe until April 2013, have a look at

Don't want to be a scaremonger (if that's the right word) but I'd feel safer booking with them as you now know that they have the backing of the banks. With the other companies, they may be struggling but we don't know about it. Very often we only hear about it when they go into administration. Don't think that any company, no matter how big is safe at the moment and whichever company you use I'd definitely recommend using a credit card just to be safe. I know many of us have claimed for consequential losses for 2012 but from 2013 onwards we are going to have to pay out a lot more for our flights :(
