help needed

We are going to Lara Beach for Xmas and New Year anybody any idea what clothes to take? not sure about weather. Anybody been that time of year? Thanks

I've been to Antalya twice around christmas. First time it was really warm, only needed a jacket at night, but last year it was very cold, and chucked it down with rain for 3 days solid. Never seen rain like it! We weren't prepared for it and spent quite a lot of time indoors. Usually it's warmer there than Icmeler, but can't guarantee it. Next time I'll be taking a lightweight waterproof golfing jacket and trousers, which would have been ideal, and easy to pack. Enjoy your trip, and be sure to go to Kaleici, the old town. It's very different from Lara.

I'm not sure about public transport, I think the dolmus runs to the edge of the old town, but it didn't cost much to get a taxi to Lara. We stayed in Kaleici, and only went to Lara as the choice of restaurants in Kaleici in winter is rather limited.
