I have booked for June & Sept next year with Thomas Cook flying from Manchester. Good daytime flight times & 20 kg luggage each. Not cheap compared to years gone by - paid just under £500 for 2 of us but they were the cheapest I could find. Even Easyjet want over £600 for 2 people next June! Doubt they will come down in price as there is less choice of companies to book with these days!

I booked 4 flights yesterday with Thomas Cook (flythomascook) going 25thAugust for 2 weeks.
Fly out @ 07.00 arriving 13.35.
Come back 8thSeptember @ 23.35 arriving Glasgow @02.10.
Could have got earlier flight coming back but this one gives me the last day by the pool.
Also 20kg and cost £991 plus £32 credit card charge. Good price but rip off c/c charge!!!
Don't think we will get cheap flights anymore and if we did, I'd be wary.

I think TC are the best out there at the moment. Don't get me wrong, expensive for sure but I have compared through Travel Supermarket and TC are still the best. Not bad times either. :?

Thomas Cook took over a couple of the flights but don't think another agency did

If another agency does take over them and they do not put enough mark up on them (sell them too cheap) then they will probably also go under as others have

I have read a company called Club Travel Ltd will be selling flights/accomodations under the Holidays 4 U/Aegean name in the near future 8) don't know if there is any truth in it or not.

Incidentally, Easyjet's new route from Edinburgh to Dalaman went on sale last week, and they had some very good prices, they are creeping up now though!

I saw that too Jula, and when I looked them up, they seem to be an Ireland-based firm?
Think the days of cheap flights are gone, and perhaps given the experiences of the past few years it's maybe no bad thing? Am thinking of all the ones that have gone bust!!

Have a look at Pegasus, they are really reasonable. I booked for Adana a couple of days ago and they were much cheaper than Turkish Airlines.

I booked thomsons from Bournemouth, they're the only company flying out from there next year....or at least so far.Thomas Cook seemed to have disappeared and Onur thru aegean so I have paid stupid money really...but Gatwick was not much cheaper and awful times and a nightmare for us to get to.I think it was £690 for 2 including baggage.Awful.But lots of people I know haven't had a holiday in years,so I can't really moan....plus it all had to be paid upfront!
